Anthony Davis scored 40 points in the victory over the Houston Rockets, making the first player on the Lakers team to do it since Shaquille O’Neal. The Lakers are now in seventh place in the Western Conference at 40-38 thanks to the big man’s averages of 26.6 points, 12.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 steals, and 2.0 blocks.

Brooklyn Nets, Bridges
Bridges led the Nets to a 3-0 week, with wins against the Rockets, Hawks, and Jazz, averaging 33 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
In the victory over the Atlanta Hawks, he scored 42 points, marking his third 40-point game of his career (and all after being moved to the Nets).
Mikal Bridges is currently averaging a career-high 20.2 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, and 8.1 assists per game this season (3.3). At 43-35, the Nets are sixth in the Eastern Conference.
