LeBron James scored 30 points to help the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-102 in overtime on Tuesday and advance to the next round of the NBA playoffs.

In a thrilling matchup at the Crypto.com Arena, the Los Angeles Lakers secured the seventh seed and will begin their Western Conference first round playoff series on Sunday against the second-seeded Memphis Grizzlies.

The Timberwolves will have another shot at making the playoffs on Friday, when they’ll take on either New Orleans or Oklahoma City for the eighth and final Western Conference playoff spot.

On Wednesday, New Orleans and Oklahoma City will battle it out to see which team goes to the championship game.

After the victory, the 38-year-old Lebron James said, “This is what our sport is all about — getting to April and having an opportunity to play in the postseason.” “We’ve been battle-tested all year, and we’ve been playing some nice basketball since the All-Star break.”

The Lakers came back from a 10-point hole in the fourth quarter to get within 1.4 seconds of winning when Lebron James set up a three-pointer for German international Dennis Schroder.

In overtime, though, the Lakers rallied to take the lead for good, and a quick flurry of points—including a three-pointer from Rui Hachimura and a layup from Dennis Schroder—put the Lakers up 103-98.
