The Los Angeles Lakers are in a tight spot against the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals. After dropping two nail-biting NBA playoff games on the road, the Lakers will return home to Los Angeles for Games 3 and 4.
Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray each had game-winning efforts in the first two games of the series, helping the Nuggets grab the lead. Jokic keeps rewriting the center position’s postseason history while Murray saved a poor shooting night with a spectacular last frame.
Michael Malone, coach of the Nuggets, is frustrated by the media’s incessant emphasis on the Lakers, but his team may take heart from its performance in the first two contests. There’s a reason Denver is the top seed, and they’ve already shown it with two impressive victories.
James Remains Confident’ Comeback Possibilities Despite 2-0 Deficit
The Lakers still have a chance to win this series, despite many predictions to the contrary. LeBron James is still confident despite being down 2-0 in the series, as evidenced by a comment he posted after the team’s loss in Game 2.
“This is not the NCAA tournament,” Lebron James said. The winner is the first person to get four.
Lebron James is absolutely correct in his assessment. There are still five games left for him and his team to win in order to reach the NBA Finals. Head coach Darvin Ham has made several tweaks that have helped, but those improvements have not yet led to a victory.
They’re hopeful things will turn around for the better when the series moves to Crypto.Com Arena for games three and four. Despite the Nuggets’ potent offensive arsenal, the Lakers have been able to contain them for parts of games.
Lakers’ Final Stand: Can Lebron James Rally His Team in Game 3 for an Epic Comeback?

While being down 2-0 isn’t ideal, Lebron James has led teams that fought back from such holes in the playoffs before. Can he get the courage to lead his squad one last time? We’ll find out beginning with Saturday night’s Game 3.
